The North American Hostel Association was created to advocate for and empower hostel owners big and small in North America.

By becoming a member of NAHA, you will receive discounted admission to our annual conference, access to exclusive hostel community communications, mentor-mentee opportunities, staff exchange, operational hostel "know-how" including checklists, policies, and practices, collective bargaining-purchasing deals on software, equipment, insurance, supplies, etc, legal counsel, and collaborative city, state, and federal compliance guidance and lobbying, among other benefits mutually agreed upon by our members.

Eligibility

All legal hostels in North America are eligible to join! We also have an associate membership for hostels outside of North America who would like to support the movement. 

Cost

We are offering discounted membership rates since this is our first year in operation. Rates are based on the size of the hostel. Each hostel must join separately (i.e. each hostel in a hostel chain must join independently). The current discounted costs are as follows:

​1 - 50 beds: $50
51 - 150 beds: $100
151+ beds: $200
Associate Membership*: $75

*Associate membership is only available to hostels outside of North America
